It’s the very best time of year - new RPG character time 😅 I’ve spent the last week sketching out Lena Pavlichenko, a 5’11” brick wall of woman who will be my pilot in a game of Beam Saber. Did I steal her last name from Lyudmila “Lady Death” Pavlichenko, famed WWII sniper? Yes. Am I having way too much fun drawing this traumatized super soldier in increasingly silly situations? Also yes. Am I already petitioning our GM for a cat acquisition subplot? Absolutely yes.

When your D&D campaign is over and you miss your boy but he Most Emphatically Does Not miss the constant danger.

I have approximately eleventy-billion things on my art to-do list, but I have become invested in the tale of one Mr. Breakfast Sandwich, a kitten in the care of @little.tunny! Y’all know I’m a sucker for a good kitty rescue story, and this lil dude was born shortly after his mama was rescued from a hoarding situation, has cerebellar hypoplasia, and brings joy to my Twitter feed with his wobbly antics.

Finishing out “things I made for others,” sometimes the most unexpected projects are the most fun! I received an Etsy message asking for a custom needle felted jumping spider, and…y’all, I Love these funky lil dudes and making a felted version was an absolute Delight!

Back to posting stuff I made for others this holiday season! After getting some good good backstory dump in a D&D session, I wanted to draw my friend Jimmy’s warforged artificer, Scrap Metal! I got this idea and turned it into a combination Christmas gift/token of appreciation - Scraps may be slightly undead, with a moral compass that is malfunctioning at best, but he’s saved Cricket several times and that counts for a lot!
